The Turkish authorities are preparing a large-scale project to combat illegal migration, and as one of the measures it has been decided to fingerprint all those entering the country.

New identity cards with electronic chips will be printed for those who have applied for refugee status, which will be impossible to change, the head of the ministry told reporters.When entering the Russian Federation, foreign citizens planning to stay in the country for more than 90 days are also subject to mandatory dactyloscopic registration, photography and medical examination.
According to the Turkish Interior Ministry, there are 4.4 million foreigners in the republic, of which 3.1 million are citizens of Syria.
