Famagusta Municipality continues to actively modernize its fleet of vehicles with the purchase of 19 new vehicles. Over the past 20 months, 77 vehicles, including several generators, have been purchased as part of the modernization program.
During the last two months, the municipality has successfully completed the tender for the purchase of 19 vehicles and four generators, two of which are equipped with trailers. The total value of the purchases amounted to £486,000.
As a result of this renewal, the various departments of the municipality received the following vehicles: two double-cab pickup trucks, one single-cab pickup truck, one small truck, four sedans, two generators with trailers, one tractor, two forklifts, one vehicle for the transportation of dead bodies and other vehicles necessary to carry out the tasks of municipal services.
It is worth noting that tenders for the purchase of vehicles were announced in Famagusta at the beginning of 2023 and continue to be a priority for the development of urban infrastructure.
