THE BIGGEST AUCTION OF PRINCESS DIANA'S ITEMS IN ALMOST 30 YEARS WILL BE HELD IN THE USA

The largest auction of Princess Diana’s belongings in almost 30 years will be held in New York. Auction house Julien’s Auction has prepared more than 150 lots, including personal and work items of Diana and other members of the royal family.

In the meantime, the collection can be seen at the Carlyle Hotel in New York.

The head of the auction house says that this auction will be historic.

The main lot of the auction will be the blue dress the Princess of Wales wore to the premiere of the film “The Phantom of the Opera” in 1986.

Other items include a purple silk and lace Spanish-inspired evening dress designed by Victor Edelstein and a pink floral shirtdress designed by Catherine Walker.

The auction will take place on June 27 in Los Angeles, California. Lots will also be available for purchase online.
