Eight unique watches of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher will be put up for auction at Christie’s auction house. These include two personalized watches.
One watch was given to Schumacher when he became world champion for the sixth time. The second ones were created in honor of his seventh victory in the tournament. The sports director of the Ferrari team, Jean Todt, ordered a watch for the racing driver.
The most expensive lot will be a personalized Vagabondage watch.
The auctioneers intend to fetch approximately four million dollars for the collection. Buyers from the USA, Asia, Europe and the Middle East have already shown interest in it.
The auction will take place on May 13 in Geneva. In the meantime, the watch is on display to the public in New York. Previously, they were presented in Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Dubai.
