Three TRNC universities have been included in the prestigious Times Higher Education ranking, a significant achievement for the region’s education system.
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Near East University (NEU) and Cyprus International University (CIU) were included in the group of 601-800 best universities in the world for 2025 according to the authoritative Times Higher Education.
President Ersin Tatar, in an official statement, expressed his sincere congratulations to the universities, emphasizing their great contribution to the development of science and education. He noted that the success of TRNC universities in the international arena is an important step towards strengthening the country’s status at the global level.
The President also expressed gratitude to the academic, administrative staff and students who have contributed to this impressive result, and wished the universities further success and new achievements.
