EMITT 2024, the fifth largest tourism fair in the world, took place from 6 to 9 February 2024.
Northern Cyprus was represented at the Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition, one of the largest tourism fairs in the world, which this year was held for the 27th time in Istanbul by municipalities and tourism unions under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister.

From the first day, the Northern Cyprus stand became the center of attention of visitors and the media.
Northern Cyprus took its place in the hall. The stand, distinguished by its original colors and spectacular design, attracted the attention of exhibition visitors from the first day. In addition to individual consumers, visitors to the Northern Cyprus stand also included tour operators and industry representatives. Ahmet Savasan, the head of the World Medical Tourism Council, on behalf of the TRNC, made a presentation at the conference on the topic “The Global Impact of Health Tourism and Cooperation Diplomacy.”
