This high-end store in Paris has been selling cheese for the last 70 years. The company remains in the hands of the same family that opened it in the 50s of the last century. Here you can find about 300 types of different cheeses. This is a quarter of all variants of this product that are produced in the country. Some people brush to remove unwanted bacteria. Others need to be turned regularly to ensure the shell forms evenly. Cheese is big business in France. In 2022, the country exported these products worth three billion 760 million dollars. At the same time, there are almost 300,000 jobs in the dairy industry.

The average Frenchman buys 12.5 kilograms of cheese per year. But the way we consume cheese is gradually changing. This is not the only store for the family business. There are five of them in Paris. The fourth generation of the same family is working in the store. The owners promise that they will continue to supply Parisians with the most delicious brie, Roquefort and Comté.
