People take turns being let into a huge room where they can receive various services for free. Here homeless people take a shower and then go to a makeshift hair salon. Hairstyles are done by volunteers.
Homeless people can also get help from volunteer doctors. Each guest also has lunch in the dining room. The food is also prepared by volunteers.
This charity project is called “Good Samaritan”.
The project manager said: “Today is a holiday for us because we not only feed people, do their hair and give them the opportunity to wash themselves. We call it the gift of love. We restore hope to those who have lost everything. That is the goal of the Good Samaritan Project.”
Volunteers also sorted donated clothing. This makes it easier for homeless people to choose the things they need. They even helped this elderly woman put everything on herself right away.
The Good Samaritan project has existed for more than 20 years. Its participants consider it their duty to help those who have lost their home and found themselves on the street.
