Residents of Japan are once again learning the “art of smiling” after three years of the coronavirus pandemic, during which everyone got used to wearing masks. To do this, they turn to special smile trainers, writes The Guardian.
Since the end of the official mandate to wear masks due to COVID-19, many people across the country have said they are struggling to adjust to life without masks. Some reported that they had lost the ability to smile. Many people develop complexes about this, said smile trainer Keiko Kawano.
“Moving and relaxing your facial muscles is the key to a beautiful smile. I want people to spend time consciously smiling for their physical and mental well-being.”
