Samsung presented its latest gadgets. For the first time in the company’s history, the presentation is taking place in Paris.
The location is perfect, with the Summer Olympics starting here later this month. The South Korean giant is trying to popularize wearable technologies such as watches and rings. However, they are now also equipped with AI technology. The AI in the new premium watch and ring aims to improve health analytics. The technology processes the user’s biometric data and also personalizes assessments and recommendations, such as a personal online fitness trainer. The smartwatch costs almost twice as much as the standard Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. Its price is $350.
Samsung also unveiled new phones: the Galaxy Z Flip 6, starting at $1,100, and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which starts at $1,900.
Note that AI technology has already been implemented in Google and Apple smartphones, which compete with Samsung, as well as in the latest personal computers running Microsoft Windows software.
