MÜSİAD EXPO, where the TRNC is also represented, opened its doors today in Istanbul.
The event, held at the TÜYAP Exhibition and Convention Center, was attended by Turkish Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment of the TRNC Fikri Ataoglu, Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Turkish Minister of Trade Omer Bolat, and TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoglu. The exhibition, which started today, will last four days and will end on Friday, Nov. 29. The event aims to bring together businessmen, industrialists and investors to create new business ties. Meetings at the exhibition are expected to achieve a trade volume of 1 billion dollars.
MÜSİAD EXPO, which aims to strengthen Turkey’s international trade position, will also host events such as the G20 Panel, Diplomatic Missions Session, Turkish-Iraqi Business Forum, MÜSİAD INVEST Networking and closing programs.
Deputy Prime Minister Fikri Ataoğlu and Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu visited the stands of the companies represented at the exhibition.
The “Island of Cyprus” stand, belonging to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, introduces the country to guests arriving at the exhibition.
