According to the latest data from Pisos.com, the average annualized rental yield in Spain in November was 5.90%, slightly higher than the previous month (5.87%). However, this figure was lower than in the same period last year (6.19%).
Looking at more specific figures, the average purchase price of a 90 square meter apartment was €218,160 and the average monthly rent paid by a tenant reached €1,073. This means that the gross annual income of the owner is €12,884.
Cities with the highest yields
Among the provincial capitals, Zamora and Lerida top the list of the most profitable cities, both with an annualized yield of 7.33%. They are followed by Teruel (7.21%), Ávila (7.06%), Segovia (7.01%), Castellón de la Plana (7%), Ciudad Real (6.93%), Córdoba (6.89%), Tarragona (6.79%) and Huelva (6.71%).
