Georgia launched an investment citizenship program
Georgia will start issuing passports for investments in the country’s economy (strategic sectors).
To obtain citizenship, a foreigner must invest between 300,000 and 3 million euros through the Georgia Development Fund. The first investors who make a contribution within the set period of time will have exclusive discounts, an official statement said.
The government expects to attract at least one billion dollars of foreign direct investment in this way within 5 years.
The Georgian passport allows visa-free entry (or with a visa on arrival) to 122 countries, including Schengen states, Canada, China.
