Recent data on Cyprus’ real estate market shows steady sales growth. Interest in housing is rising, especially in coastal areas and major cities. Both locals and foreign investors seek profitable deals and a comfortable lifestyle.
From 2021 to 2024, Russians led purchases in Limassol with 2,561 properties (1,292 finalized, 1,269 pending). The British bought 1,840 units, followed by Israelis with 1,154. In Paphos, the British led with 4,483 properties, Russians followed with 1,563, and Israelis secured 1,291.
In Larnaca, British nationals bought 2,743 properties, Lebanese citizens 1,744, and Israelis 1,406. Nicosia saw Greeks leading with 1,626 properties, followed by the British (1,584) and Australians (545). In Famagusta, top buyers were the British (1,182), Greeks (165), and Lebanese (131).
Over four years, 37,000 properties in Cyprus were sold to foreigners. Non-Cypriots accounted for 15.6% of total transactions.
