The Czechs unexpectedly took the lead in the 62nd minute. Lukash Provod played excellently. However, seven minutes later the score was leveled: Czech defender Robin Granac scored an own goal.
The next goal was scored by the Portuguese Diogo Jota in the 87th minute of the game. But after watching the video replay, it was canceled. But still, the Portuguese snatched victory through the efforts of Francisco Conceição, who came on as a substitute.
Earlier in the day, Türkiye beat Georgia 3-1 in Group F. The meeting took place at the stadium in Dortmund, at times in pouring rain.
