DOUBLE SCREEN LAPTOP

Taiwanese technology company ASUS has unveiled the “world’s first” 14-inch laptop with a dual OLED screen at CES in Las Vegas.

Two 3K displays create a large visual workspace. The laptop is also equipped with a removable full-size Bluetooth keyboard.

ASUS claims that the Zenbook DUO is an ultra-portable workspace that can be configured in multiple modes.

ASUS also showed new laptops with a special Microsoft Copilot key. It launches an artificial intelligence chatbot.

Microsoft has agreed with several computer manufacturers such as ASUS and Dell to add the AI button to laptops. The move will help the company benefit from its close partnership with ChatGPT maker OpenAI and become a window for generative AI technology applications.

Meanwhile, South Korean screen maker LG has unveiled the future of transparent displays. He claims that he is the only one in the world who creates such OLED screens.

And soon they may appear in luxury shopping centers. This is what stands may look like, displaying prices, text and images. In addition, such screens can be built into transparent display cases.

Nicole Scott, Technology Expert:

“We will definitely see transparent displays in luxury stores, like here at the LG booth. It will take some time for brick-and-mortar stores to afford this, and the technology will have to come down in price first.”

Experts expect such transparent screens to appear in luxury stores around the world this year.
