CUTE PUPPIES GIVE PEACE OF MIND IN YOGA CLASSES

Yoga with puppies – such classes are offered to residents of Los Angeles. In one of the gyms, you can stretch in the company of nine cute pets. Many of them are looking for a permanent family.

While practitioners work on asanas, the puppies actively support them, jumping on their backs or running around.

The owners of Laughing Frog Yoga Studio say that their gym was one of the first to offer yoga with puppies back in 2019.

Dog trainer and puppy owner Julie Mondin says that the classes bring many benefits to the mental health of practitioners, giving them happiness, joy and helping them to socialize. Most of the puppies are taken from the shelter. They can be taken home. Over the course of the classes, 58 pets have already been placed. Yoga with puppies instructor Kaia Plaka is responsible for the entire pack. In her experience, the signs of emotional fatigue often go unnoticed by many people, so she likes to keep her classes fun. All new puppies are taught socialization skills and nurtured toward potential adoption. For many yoga enthusiasts like Aubrey Ackerman, relaxation and poses take a backseat when puppies join in the fun mid-stretch. And while practitioners are still trying to find zen, mishaps are inevitable.
