AMAZINGLY COMPLETE DINOSAUR SKELETON SHOWN IN DENMARK

The 13-meter skeleton of a long-necked Camarasaurus was shown to the public at the museum of the Danish safari park Knutenborg.

The park’s director says the herbivorous giant lived 150 million years ago in what is now Wyoming in the United States.

The remains were discovered in 2017. They are unique in that they are almost completely preserved. Before dying, the dinosaur curled up near what is now a cattle ranch.

It was dug up, restored and transported to Denmark. According to London’s Natural History Museum, Camarasaurs were plant-eating dinosaurs that walked on four legs. They lived 150-140 million years ago in what is now the United States. The length could reach 23 meters.

The skeleton was displayed along with other fossils in the museum, which opened in 2022.
