Kyrenia Mayor Murat Şenkul spoke about the city sewerage project. After the completion of the work, about 1,200 houses, as well as social facilities, will be connected to the system. Work to connect the missing parts of Kervansaray and Doğanköy to the sewerage system will begin in the near future. As a result, the sewer line will be connected to the entrance to Karaoğlanoğlu.
According to the work plan, the area between the Korabl Hotel and the Zeytinlik social housing is planned to be connected to the sewerage system within 1-2 months.
Upon completion of the work, about 1,200 houses, the Military Hospital and the New State Hospital of Kyrenia are planned to be connected to the sewerage system.
