A GIRAFFE FOUND A FAMILY IN THE SAFARI PARK

After a long journey, Benito the giraffe settles into a safari park in the Mexican city of Puebla. Before that, he lived for eight months in Ciudad Juarez, alone and, moreover, in a cramped enclosure.

The fate of the giraffe alarmed zoo guests and conservationists. In addition to loneliness, the life of the giraffe was complicated by the unsuitable climate. Ciudad Juarez is very cold in winter. Activists ensured that the African animal was transported to Puebla. The journey lasted 50 hours.

According to the safari park staff, the guests are happy to see Benito here and applaud him.

Benito traveled 2,000 kilometers in a truck trailer. A special high container was made for the passenger. During the journey he was fed and watered, and his well-being was constantly monitored.
