A COPY OF THE EIFEL TOWER FOR THE 2024 OLYMPICS

A replica of the Eiffel Tower was made from recycled materials by two French friends. The replica was built in the suburb of La Chevrolière in the west of the country. The height of the tower is 16 meters. Width at the base – 6.5.

The author of the idea is carpenter Frederic Malmezac. He decided to find a use for wood waste.

Frederic invited his friend Sylvain Bouchard to join the project. He is confined to a wheelchair, but immediately agreed.

Frederick has been a carpenter for over 20 years and loves his job with all his heart.

Friends began building the replica in September last year. 825 boards and 5400 screws were used. The project cost almost 7,000 euros. This is more than what the builders expected. The missing money was collected via the Internet.

Now the friends are looking for a 40 square meter plot of land in Paris to display a replica of the tower there during the Summer Olympics. However, before this you must obtain permission from the authorities. Frederic and Sylvain hope that their creation will stand next to the Olympic village or at the foot of the real Eiffel Tower.
