Municipality, which has become its 11th sister city. The protocol was signed at a ceremony held at the Iskele Municipality building. Iskele Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu and Yenisehir Mayor Abdullah Özyiğit emphasized that the friendship between the cities began long before the relations were formalized.
During the ceremony, Hasan Sadıkoğlu expressed his hope that the brotherhood and cooperation between the cities will only be strengthened. He said the agreement will create new opportunities for dialog, exchange of ideas and realization of joint projects. Abdullah Ozyigit, in turn, said that the twinning will benefit the residents of both cities and will be the basis for further development of mutual ties.
The event was attended by members of the municipalities of Iskele and Yenisehir, cultural and business representatives, as well as the Association of Turkish-Arab and European Businessmen. The participants expressed confidence that the new agreement will be an important step in strengthening the friendship between the cities.
