Famagusta Municipality announces new initiatives aimed at improving order on the roads and enhancing the city’s well-being. As of Monday, October 14, measures will come into effect that will help maintain road safety for all residents and visitors.
Fines for improper parking will be imposed by the relevant division of the municipality as well as traffic police officers.
The fixed fine for improper parking will be 1010.90 Turkish Liras (or 2.5% of the minimum wage).
From now on, compliance with parking regulations will be monitored by the municipality staff together with the traffic police.
