The educational program for the summer holidays of August 2024 for children aged 8-13 was organized by the Center for Continuous Education and Social Life, which is part of the Social Affairs Department of Girne Municipality.
The activities, organized by instructors Deniz Poyrazoğlu, Nevin Halis and social service staff, are held free of charge in the old building of the Girne Municipality.
Programs of activities:
August 10 (Saturday):
11:00 – 12:00: – mask making
12:00 – 13:00: hairpin workshop
13:00 – 14:30: creative workshop.
August 11 (Sunday):
9:30 – 11:30: Girne Ancient Harbor and Castle Tour.
August 17 (Saturday):
11:00–12:00: “Magnet” workshop
12:00–1:00 p.m.: sweet workshop
1:00–2:30 p.m.: creative workshop.
August 18 (Sunday):
9:30–11:30 a.m.: tour of the ancient harbor and Girne Castle.
August 24 (Saturday):
11:00–12:00 p.m.: frame-making workshop
12:00–1:00 p.m.: creative workshop.
1:00–2:30 p.m.: jewelry design workshop
August 25 (Sunday):
10:00–12:00 p.m.: survival competition for ages 5–8.
13:00 – 15:00: Water competitions for the 9–13 age group.
