AMAZING CERAMIC ART IN LONDON

Ceramic high-heeled shoes and a handbag that complements the look. These exhibits became part of the exhibition of works of art presented at Ceramic Art London. This is the largest exhibition of luxury ceramics in the UK.

116 artists from 20 countries, including Guatemala, Japan and South Korea, were invited to participate.
Rich Miller is a potter and TV presenter of the popular show Great Pottery. He presents a collection of ceramic crowns.

“The monarchy is our uniqueness and something we should all be proud of. I use this theme a lot because the idea of the monarchy and how it rules in different countries seems exciting to me.”

These works look like they were dug out of the ground by an archaeologist. Greek artist Melina Xanaki from Athens is inspired by ancient Greek, Cypriot and Roman ceramics. She likes to use modern glazes and bold colors to give her products a twist.
Her work is so convincing that one day an airport security officer thought she was taking ancient artifacts out of the country.

Tentacles and mouths of strange creatures. This is the collection of the South Korean potter Shinhye Yu. All her creations are inhabitants of a fantasy world that she invented.
One and a half tons of free clay were also prepared at the exhibition so that all novice artists could try their hand.
The event was attended by more than 6,000 people.
